Ingredients (Makes 12 cupcakes):
Cupcakes:
- 1 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
Buttercream Frosting:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy (2–3 min). Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk.
- Divide batter evenly and bake for 18–20 minutes. Cool before frosting.
- Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy. Pipe or spread on cooled cupcakes.
